看了10月20日《北京青年报》上伦兵写的关于中国第二届歌剧节即将举行的报道,其中提到近年来我国创作的歌剧关注历史多而关注现实少,很少触及现实矛盾,对此我也深有同感。最近,看到美国《歌剧新闻》杂志(2014年10月号)上面登载了美国作曲家约翰·亚当斯与诗人、剧作家爱丽斯·古德曼创作的表现巴勒斯坦解放阵线分子劫持游轮事件的歌剧《克林霍佛之死》在美复演的报道和评论,却使我开了眼界和引起了我的思索。
I read the forthcoming report on the second opera festival in China written by Shang Lunbing on the Beijing Youth Daily on October 20, in which I mentioned that in recent years, the operas in my country have paid much attention to the history and paid little attention to the reality, and seldom touched the reality of contradictions , I am deeply sympathetic to this. Recently, I saw in the American magazine Opera (October 2014 issue) the opera by the American composer John Adams and the poet and playwright Alice Goodman on the performance of the Palestinian Liberation Front elements’ abduction of a cruise ship. The coverage and commentary on the death of Klinghorn in the United States have given me a horizons and aroused my thoughts.
