信息技术在教学中的应用,是基础教育信息化的重点,也是难点。今年春夏之交,北京的很多中小学生都体验了一段特殊的网络学习的经历。突发的“非典”疫情,为检验北京多年来开展信息技术教育的成果提供了一个机会。同时,实战应用也催化了许多新技术、新产品在基础教育领域中的普及,比如无线上网技术、视频会议系统等。祸兮福所依,这次检验在一定程度上加速了信息技术在教学中的应用。然而,围绕“应用”这个核心也凸显出不少问题。思考这些问题,我们想到了“莫到用时方恨少”这句话,既是感慨,更是期望。这个“少”字的含义、不单指硬件设备的投入不足、高素质的人员少等数量上的“少”,更重要的是深层次上的不足和欠缺。校外实施网络教学的研究少,教师所掌握的网络技能少,网络教学实际应用的成功模式少……仿佛也只有到了必须用的时候,我们才更能体会用什么和怎么用。愿我们的基础教育信息化在“非典”以后的时间里有更长足的发展。
The application of information technology in teaching is the focus and difficulty of basic education informatization. At the turn of spring and summer this year, many elementary and middle school students in Beijing experienced a period of special online learning experiences. The sudden outbreak of SARS has provided an opportunity to test Beijing’s achievements in information technology education over the years. At the same time, actual application also catalyzed the popularization of many new technologies and new products in the field of basic education, such as wireless Internet access technology and video conference systems. According to the bad news, this test has accelerated the application of information technology in teaching to some extent. However, the core of the “application” also highlights many problems. In thinking about these issues, we thought of the phrase “When we don’t use it, we hate it less.” This is both emotion and expectation. The meaning of this “less” word refers not only to the lack of investment in hardware equipment, and to a small number of “high quality personnel”, but more importantly, to the inadequacies and shortcomings at the deep level. There are few researches on the implementation of online teaching outside the school, less network skills teachers possess, and less successful modes of practical application of network teaching. It seems that only when it is necessary to use, we can better understand what to use and how to use it. We hope that our basic education informatization will have a longer period of development after SARS.
