The Lower Gerante Lock is engineered by the Army Division’s Walla Walla work area and has been validated by a hydraulic model test that is 86 feet wide by 675 feet and has a design head of 105 feet. The gate’s waterway corridor layout, for the first time using the bottom longitudinal waterway corridor system.
