Objective To investigate the effects of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) transplantation on left ventricular function and cardiac arrhythmia in myocardial infarction (MI) rats. Methods MI model was established by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery of rats and randomly divided into control group, infarction group (MI) and intervention group. The left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular end-systolic diameter (LVESD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and short axis shortening (FS) Abnormal trigger rates and events. Results Compared with the control group, LVESD in MI group and intervention group were significantly increased, LVEF and FS were significantly decreased (P <0.05), LVEDD was significantly increased in MI group, the number of sustained ventricular tachycardia (SVT) induced and VT VT) into ventricular fibrillation (VF) and ventricular fibrillation caused by death were significantly increased the incidence of persistent ventricular tachycardia MI group was significantly higher than the control group. Compared with MI group, LVEDD and LVESD were significantly decreased, LVEF and FS were significantly increased (P <0.05), induced non-sustained ventricular tachycardia (NSVT) and SVT were significantly decreased, but the induction rate of NSVT and SVT , And there was no significant difference in the incidence of VT-induced VF and ventricular fibrillation-induced death. Conclusion BM-MSCs transplantation can partially improve cardiac function after infarction in rats and reduce the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia.
