The Hundred Flowers Cave battle took place on June 10, 1941. At that time, over 120 people from the third brigade of the Guangdong People’s Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Army were stationed in Da Wang Ling. They often used the evening to go to villages nearby to carry out propaganda activities and mobilized the masses to join the anti-Japanese guerrillas in support of the anti-Japanese war. The Japanese soldiers regard the guerrillas as a thorn in their throats and threaten to conduct “encirclement and suppression” against Da Ling Shan. On the evening of June 10, head of battalion Zeng Sheng, minister of the democratic movement Ye Feng, propaganda minister of Dalingshan District Zhang Libo and other leaders led to the work of democracy movement by studying and developing the yellow plot of the underground party branch secretary of Baihuadong Cave and the underground party member Lu Fu. I do not know how to let Japanese soldiers know this matter. More than 400 Japanese Chief Strategists set up Dalingshan overnight from Shilong. They dispatched more than 200 members of the 30th Divisional Headquarters of Houjie to attempt to surround Baihuadong Village before dawn.
