目的对比分析频率选择饱和法(FS)技术和快速反转恢复(TIRM)技术在脊柱金属植入物患者MRI中的优劣,探讨最佳脂肪抑制方法。方法选择23例脊柱金属植入物患者,其中男性11例,女性12例;年龄26~70岁,平均年龄55岁。采用Siemens Magnetom Trio 3.0 T MRI仪,分别使用FS技术和TIRM技术行MRI。采用主观法对图像质量进行评价,包括图像清晰度评分、抑脂均匀性评分和伪影评分。结果所有患者没有检查失败者。TIRM技术和FS技术所得图像清晰度评分分别为3.09±0.73、2.61±0.66,差异有统计学意义(t=2.331,P=0.024);抑脂均匀性评分分别为3.04±0.88、2.13±0.63,差异有显著统计学意义(t=4.062,P<0.01);图像伪影大小评分分别为3.00±0.90、2.43±0.73,差异有统计学意义(t=2.335,P=0.024)。结论在脊柱金属植入物患者MRI检查中,TIRM技术可以减轻金属植入物MRI伪影、改善图像质量,具有较大的临床应用价值。
Objective To compare and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of frequency selective saturation (FS) and rapid inversion recovery (TIRM) techniques in the MRI of spinal metal implants, and to explore the best method of fat suppression. Methods Twenty-three patients with spine metal implants were selected, including 11 males and 12 females, aged from 26 to 70 years with a mean age of 55 years. The Siemens Magnetom Trio 3.0 T MRI was used to perform MRI using FS and TIRM techniques respectively. Subjective method was used to evaluate the image quality, including image sharpness score, fat suppression uniformity score and artifact score. Results All patients did not check for failure. The sharpness scores of TIRM and FS were 3.09 ± 0.73 and 2.61 ± 0.66, respectively, with significant difference (t = 2.331, P = 0.024). The evenness score was 3.04 ± 0.88 and 2.13 ± 0.63 respectively, (T = 4.062, P <0.01). The size of the image artifacts were 3.00 ± 0.90 and 2.43 ± 0.73, respectively. The difference was statistically significant (t = 2.335, P = 0.024). Conclusion TIRM technique can reduce the MRI artifacts and improve the image quality in patients with spinal metal implants, which has great clinical value.
