With the development of the Internet, China’s economy and society have undergone significant changes. At the same time, with the improvement of the economic market and the diversification of society, the social management under the Internet environment is facing severe challenges. In this paper, according to the status quo of social management under the Internet environment, the following strategies for strengthening social management are put forward: building a sound law and regulation, monitoring and guidance of public opinion on the Internet, disclosing information and building a real Internet environment.
