2002年9月21～23日,由中国农业科学院麻类研究所主持召开了国家863项目“主要麻类作物高效育种技术及高产优质多抗新品种选育”课题汇报暨学术交流会,来自湖南、湖北、黑龙江、内蒙古、四川、福建等省（区）的八个课题承担单位参加了会议。中国农科院科技局派员作了重要讲话。各课题组就“十五”期间的研究迸展、存在问题及今后努力的方向作了详细的汇报。该课题主持人、麻类研究所所长熊和平作了总结发言。
From September 21 to 23, 2002, hosted by the Institute of Hemp, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a project report and academic exchange meeting of National 863 Project “Efficient Breeding of Major Hemp Crops and Breeding of High Yield, High Quality and Multi-resistance New Varieties” was held from Hunan , Hubei, Heilongjiang, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Fujian and other provinces (autonomous regions) of the eight task units attended the meeting. Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science and Technology Bureau sent an important speech. Each research group made a detailed report on the research progress, existing problems and future efforts in the “Tenth Five-year Plan” period. The subject host, president of Bast Fiber Institute made a concluding statement Xiong Heping.
