With economic globalization and integrated development, technological standardization has become a prerequisite for not only products entering the market but also a key factor in the development of information technology applications and industries in all walks of life, especially in the field of information technology. To obtain and maintain a competitive advantage, an enterprise must adopt an effective strategy. The technology standardization strategy is a magic weapon for enterprises to gain market advantage in the competition. The competition of contemporary technical standards is not so much technical and tactical as it is strategic. Carrying out the analysis on the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of China’s mobile communication technology standardization strategy is the primary link in the development of mobile communication enterprises.
