Kroto等提出的C_(60)、C_(70)分子结构,已被红外和拉曼光谱证实。现在已经知道,C_(60)分子是由长键和短键构成的20个六边形环和12个五边形环连接起来的截角20面体,具有Ih对称性;C_(70)分子则由25个六边形环和12个五边形环连接而成的椭球状分子,对称点群为D_(5h)。它们的拉曼活性振动模式按对称性分类分别为2Ag+8Hg,12A_1+22E_2′+19E_1″。
The C 60 and C 70 molecular structures proposed by Kroto et al. Have been confirmed by infrared and Raman spectroscopy. It is now known that the C 60 molecule is a truncated 20-sided body connected by 20 hexagonal rings consisting of long and short bonds and 12 pentagonal rings with Ih symmetry. The C 70 molecule Ellipsoid molecules are connected by 25 hexagonal rings and 12 pentagonal rings. The symmetrical point group is D_ (5h). The vibrational modes of their Raman activity are classified as 2Ag + 8Hg, 12A_1 + 22E_2 ’+ 19E_1, respectively by symmetry.
