词汇教学是中学英语教学最基本的环节,其效果的好坏直接影响英语各方面技能的提高。因此,改进教学方法,采用新颖、恰当的方法进行词汇教学,突破瓶颈,提高教学效果是十分必要的。针对目前大部分中学生在学习词汇方面普遍存在的记不住、遗忘快、效果差、事倍功半、力不从心的状态,结合实际教学经验,通过一系列教学实践案例来论述在新课程背景下,多媒体信息技术以其生动、形象、直观、灵活、多元化的优势,在提高英语词汇教学有效性方面起的事半功倍的作用。
