致癌是最主要的辐射生物效应之一,而维甲类药物可能是予防氡致肺癌等放射性所致癌症以及其它一些癌症有希望的药物。其作用机制是以无细胞毒性的生理机制来阻断或逆转细胞的癌变过程。许多研究资料表明维甲类药物是值得进一步研究和探索的抗癌新药。但是,由于它的毒副作用,尤其是某些维甲类药物引起的头痛严重地限制了该类药物在放射性作业现场及临床上应用。为探索解决这一问题的可能途径,我们采用皮层电图(ECoG)法研究了过量β-维甲酸对家兔神经系统的毒副作用。
Carcinogenesis is one of the most important radiation biological effects, and retinoids may be promising drugs for the prevention of lung cancer and other radiation-induced cancers and other cancers. The mechanism of action is to block or reverse the cancerous process of cells by a non-cytotoxic physiological mechanism. Many research data indicate that retinoids are new anti-cancer drugs worthy of further research and exploration. However, due to its toxic side effects, especially headaches caused by certain retinoids severely limit the application of this type of drug in the field of radioactive operation and clinical application. In order to explore possible ways to solve this problem, we used the electrocorticography (ECoG) method to study the toxic side effects of excess β-retinoic acid on rabbit nervous system.
