Objective: To explore a method for accurately and objectively evaluating and judging brain damage coma after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Methods: Twenty-seven patients with cerebral injury after 12 hours of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) were continuously observed and evaluated. The evaluation items included various clinical observations on the nervous system. Results: Of the 27 patients, 19 (70.4%) died within 1 month after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The remaining 8 survived patients became unconscious from coma and 2 (25.0%) survived patients at day 5 and day 5, respectively 43 awake. Conclusion: Clinical comprehensive assessment of objective and reliable coma after cardiopulmonary resuscitation has important guiding significance for clinical medical decision-making and improving the success rate of cerebral resuscitation.
