陈乔森,十九世纪中后期雷州文人,曾数度上京,与当时金石名家杨守敬等人交好。其书法从唐人出,绘画多水墨酣畅之作,存世作品颇多,为当时雷州乃至省内能出心裁者。历来研究者对雷州地区本土书画家研究不足,本文从其诗文、书画、交游各方面入手,力图较全面地展现陈乔森精神面貌,同时也藉此窥视雷州地区的艺术传统。 Chen Qiaosen, a man from Leizhou in the mid-to-late nineteenth century, once spent many years in Beijing and was bestowed upon by Yang Shou-jing, a famous stone expert at the time. His calligraphy from the Tang Dynasty, painting more ink hearty works, surviving many works, as was the case of Leizhou and even the province. Historically, researchers have not studied the local calligraphists and painters in Leizhou area. Starting with their poetry, calligraphy and painting, and friendship, this article attempts to present Chen Qiaosen’s spirit in a comprehensive way and also peek into the artistic tradition in Leizhou.
