从我国的化妆品市场看,化妆品销售额居亚洲第二,世界第八位。据有关资料预测,到2008年,我国化妆品市场销售总额可达800亿元左右,化妆品市场销售额平均以每年20%速度增长,增长速度远远高于国民经济的平均速度。是什么使化妆品有如此巨大的经济增长力?经济界人士提出“美容经济”新概念,它将成为继房地产、汽车、电子通讯、旅游之后的“第五大消费热点”。其依据是,通过百货店逐渐培育成熟的化妆品的市场,开始向超市、专卖店渗透,高中低端的化妆品供应商,希冀将各层次消费形成市场“合围”之势,将购买能力“一网打尽”。
