产品涵义从单纯的有形产品扩展到基于产品的增值服务,这种趋势被称为产品服务化。许多公司都在积极实施产品服务化,如通用电气(GE)的能源管理服务,壳牌石油的化学品管理服务,施乐公司的文件处理服务,IBM、惠普(HP)的信息服务,伊莱克斯的一体化电气解决方案等。而其服务外包已经成为一些公司的核心竞争优势。如GE、HP、IBM等跨国公司,已经擅长于使用全球劳动力资源,把相关服务业务外包给他国公司,以获得技术支持、客户服务支持和产品设计。服务外包的不断增长,为服务供应链的形成与发展奠定了坚实的基础。
The product meaning extends from simple tangible products to product-based value-added services, a trend known as product service. Many companies are actively implementing product services such as GE’s energy management services, Shell’s chemicals management services, Xerox’s document processing services, IBM, HP’s information services, Electrolux’s Integrated electrical solutions. And its service outsourcing has become the core competitive advantage of some companies. Multinationals such as GE, HP, IBM and others are already adept at using the global workforce to outsource related services to other companies for technical support, customer service support and product design. The continuous growth of service outsourcing has laid a solid foundation for the formation and development of the service supply chain.
