By the end of October, the Thai exchange rate and the stock market had dropped by 35% and 30% respectively. The Thai baht dropped from a low of 25: 1 to a low of 54: 1, and stabilized after a 60-70% devaluation. All of a sudden, Thailand all over the country, all sectors of the economy slump, stagflation staggering.
