The 1998 Yangtze River flood struck the wake of the turn of the century. In the face of a fierce and merciless flood, thousands of people living along the Yangtze River began to understand that every inch of land in Jiangtou is associated with the lives of brothers and sisters in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The essence of this connection is to maintain the soil and water resources, protect the forests, shake off poverty and become prosperous and achieve sustainable development. Among the tens of millions of people who are concerned about the ecological environment in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, there is such a scientist named Zhang Jibin. Zhang Jiabin is a professor and doctoral tutor, director of the Yunnan Provincial Institute of modern forestry, Southwest Forestry College Dean of the Institute of modern forestry, Yunnan Province CPPCC Standing Committee. At the fifth meeting of the Eighth CPPCC National Committee of Yunnan Province, Professor Zhang Jiabin submitted a document to the General Assembly that proposed the construction of the Kunming Modern Forestry Development Zone in China. Professor Zhang Jiabin is a modern forest with independent intellectual property rights in our country
