Most of the basic mechanisms of aging are not yet known. Impede the delay or prevent the aging-related diseases; can not seek people as long as possible health and longevity. Aging cells accumulate in a variety of aging tissues and organs, and one has assumed that the structure and function of the tissue are destroyed by their secreted components. However, it is unknown whether aging cells are aging-related causes of hypofunction and whether clearing them is beneficial. To explore these fundamental issues, the authors used a new sign of aging, P16Ink4a, to design a new transgenic mouse, INK-ATTAC, that cleans P16Ink4a-positive senescent cells with a single drug.
