The new sensor is basically composed of super-magnetically-extending elements, coils and housings. The size of the sensor is about 1cm long side of the cube. Magnetically extending element is cylindrical, ultra-magnetically expanded material for rare earth terbium, dysprosium and iron alloy. After the magnetostrictive element is forced, the resistance in the coil wound on the outer side of the magnetostrictive element changes, and the data read by the impedance change can calculate the magnitude of the applied force.
