从皇太极建立汉军八旗伊始,汉军旗武职官员作为一个特殊的群体,活跃在清朝的政治舞台之上。他们经历了入关前在军事活动中的重用,清前期在地方治理中受统治者的倚重。到了清中期,在统治者鼓励旗人以军功显达,为了旗人生计不断扩充汉军旗编制的背景下,汉军旗武职官员却呈现出逐渐衰退的迹象,越来越多的汉军旗人选择竞争日益激烈的文职出仕而非武职,这一现象的出现与汉军旗人的汉人特点是分不开的。
From the beginning of the establishment of the Han Army Eight Banners by Huang Taizi, the Han military flag officials were active as a special group above the Qing political stage. They experienced the re-use of military activities prior to their entry into the country and were heavily relied upon by rulers in local governance in the early Qing.
