It has been shown that pilots flying can change certain hormones in the body. To further investigate the effects of flight on certain hormones in the body, we measured the levels of serum cortisol, insulin, glucagon, thyroid hormone (T_3) before and after flight in male pilots (n = 38) and ground crew , T_4) and cyclic nucleotide (cAMP, cGMP) values. Results Before and after the pilots’ flight, cortisol (497.39 ± 148.23 vs. 623.81 ± 296.24nmol / L, p <0.05), insulin (20.34 ± 9.88 vs 14.95 ± 5.82mU / L, p <0.01), and glucagon (72.89 ± 31.72 vs 104.25 ± 58.14mg / L, p <0.01) and cAMP (20.44 ± 8.89 vs 25.49 ± 9.17nmol / L, p <0.05), while there were no significant changes in T_3, T_4 and cGMP (p> 0.05). Insulin was significantly reduced in the ground crew before and after work (19.78 ± 5.03 vs 16.91 ± 2.95 mU / L, p <0.01). There were no significant differences in the hormones between pilots and ground crew before flight (p> 0.05). Cortisol, glucagon and cAMP were higher in pilots than in ground crew before flight (p <0.05). The author believes that the pilot’s changes may be related to stress, acceleration and so on. Studying these changes will help us to study aerospace medicine and medical support.
