From 1910 to 1945, there are not many works depicting Korean women in modern Chinese literary works. Most of the North Korean women in these works have been displaced to exotic China for living or leaving their country or living a difficult life or joining the Chinese people in the anti-Japanese struggle with anti-Japanese awareness. The indomitable fighting spirit and firm will shown by these North Korean women in the work have greatly encouraged the Chinese people’s anti-Japanese morale at the time and left a deep impression on Chinese readers. On the basis of combing the narrative features of these works, through the analysis of the images of “others” and “Korean women” written by modern Chinese writers and their socio-cultural background, this paper explores the image of North Korea’s women and related works The Value and Significance in the History of Modern Chinese Literature.
