Select dialysis patients with renal insufficiency as a case group, health examination staff as a control group, its Toxoplasma gondii-specific IgG antibodies were detected. A total of 205 dialysis patients were detected. The positive rate of Toxoplasma gondii IgG was 27.3%. In control group, the positive rate of IgG was 3.6%. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The positive rate of blood transfusion in dialysis patients was 31.2%, the positive rate of no blood transfusion was 19.2%, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Toxoplasma infection in patients with renal insufficiency was significantly higher than the general population, is a potential risk factor for Toxoplasma infection.
