一、引言传统的口语教学模式已显露出种种弊端,主要表现在以下几方面:首先,传统的大学英语课堂口语教学往往以教师为中心,教学方法单一,形式多为教师提问,学生回答或接句,在整个教学过程中,学生显得比较被动。其次,学生接触真实英语交际情景的机会非常有限,他们的语言学习和习得的主要环境就是课堂。此外,受传统教学与应试教育的影响,讲解课文,词汇,翻译,写作练习往往占用了课堂大部分时间,加之四级统考的压力,有的老师为了赶进度,口语教学就被束之高阁,这使得非英语专业学生本身就缺乏口语课堂。因此大学英语口语教学改革势在必行。

Second, students have very limited access to real-world communicative situations and their main language learning and acquisition environment is the classroom. In addition, under the influence of traditional teaching and exam-oriented education, it is often stressed that text, vocabulary, translation and writing practice occupy most of the classroom time. Combined with the pressure of the fourth level examination, some teachers are put in a hurry in order to catch up. Non-English majors themselves lack oral classes. Therefore, the reform of college oral English teaching is imperative.
