图书害虫在我国,特别是在南方高温高湿地区危害十分严重。据对本省六个地区14个图书馆调查,发现害虫对图书的为害,特别是对古籍善本的危害已达到惊人的程度。古籍善本被害率达81％,其中严重虫损占22％,虫损报废占2.6％;古籍善本平均有虫0.56条/册,生虫最严重的图书馆平均有虫9.7条/册。该省分布图书害虫三十余种,在图书内发现六种。目前,图书馆的虫害已成为图书保护的一个突出问题,如果再不给予高度重视,再不采取切实可行的措施,在不太久的时间内,我国浩翰的文化古籍就有被虫毁的危险。为了有效地防治图书害虫,保护我省珍贵文化遗产免受害虫的为害,特制定《图书害虫综合防治方案》。
Books and pests in our country, especially in the hot and humid areas in the South very serious harm. The province distributed more than thirty kinds of book pests, found in the book six. At present, the pest of the library has become a prominent issue in the protection of books. If we do not attach great importance to it and take no practical measures, the cultural ancient books of our country will have the risk of being destroyed by insects in the not too long period of time. In order to effectively prevent and control book pests and protect the precious cultural heritage of our province from pests, we formulated a comprehensive plan for prevention and control of book pests.
