在毛泽东时代的美术中,以新年画为代表的文艺“大众化”运动,实际上体现了精英知识分子和“大众”在审美趣味上的争斗。借助一个统一的图像生产体系,民间审美观念成功地改变了美术作品的风格和特征,但同时也暴露出民间审美机制与“现实主义”创作模式之间难以调和的矛盾。
In the art of Mao Zedong era, the movement of “popularization” of literature and art, represented by New Year’s paintings, in fact shows the battle between the elite intellectuals and the “public” on aesthetic taste. With a unified system of image production, the concept of folk aesthetic has successfully changed the style and characteristics of fine art works, but at the same time, it has also revealed the contradiction between the aesthetic mechanism of the folk and the mode of creation of “realism”.
