Japan’s first tea, two tea and three tea picking period were in April to May, June to July and August to September. Relatively speaking, the growth of the shoots of the head tea mainly depends on the nutrients supplied by the carbohydrates stored in the previous year, and the stored carbohydrates are continuously consumed as the head tea grows and picks up. Therefore, the growth of the second and third teas depends mainly on the photosynthesis supply of nutrients. Therefore, keeping a group of new leaves during the picking of the first tea will play an important role in maintaining the high-intensity photosynthesis of the second and third teas and improving the yield and quality of the second and third teas.
