艺术教育是一种语言教育,具有领悟性原则,格式塔学派的美学家阿恩海姆把艺术教育的领悟性原则总结为:艺术教育所使用的材料必须具有内在的秩序并且容许这些秩序在孩子们能够接受的水平上创造出来,孩子们对他们不能领悟的东西不会感到有吸引力……我们所需要的一种经验就是在可见的东西中,毕竟有着某些能够理解的成分,其次充分规则的情景必须直接或间接地与孩子们的生活方式可见地联系起来。因此,在艺术教育中所看见、所听见的东西应该揭示出与他们的存在相关的事实,受教育者才能理解并发生兴趣,进而表现、创造艺术作品。
