张迪梅同志在《外语电化教学》1987年第3期发表了题为《正确处理电视教材中语言与图像的关系》一文,读后受益匪浅。文中充分肯定了语言在电视教材中的重要作用,也提出了一些独到见解。目前,某些同志在编制电视教材时,有重画面,轻解说的倾向。作者提出了这一值得注意的问题,理论上值得探讨,实践上也有一定现实意义。这一探讨本身,也是电化教育不断深入发展的标志。然而,作者在阐述这一问题时,多有偏颇。现提些粗浅看法,和张迪梅同志商榷,求教于大家。画面和解说究竟是什么关系?作者只下了个空泛、模糊的结论:“应以语言与图像作为相辅相成的一个整体,才是电视教材中两个要素真正的辩证关系。”怎样才能形成这种关系,未作出明确回答。我们认为,要探讨两者关系,必须明确它们在电视教材
