康齿宝口胶对变链菌胞外GTase,ISG,体外菌斑形成的有效抑制浓度均为25mg/ml;对细菌产酸的有效抑制浓度为50mg/ml;对离体牙脱矿的有效保护浓度为200mg/ml;康齿宝口胶的最大耐受量为85.2g药材/kg·d(ig),相当临床日用量的741倍;多次给药的刺激性试验表明本品对口腔粘膜无刺激性;以临床日剂量的100和50倍(11.5g和5.75g药材/(kg·d)给大白鼠ig给药,每天1次,连续3个月.动物的一般情况,体重,血液学,血液生化学指标均未见异常,主要脏器组织学检查也未见异常改变。
