劈雷闪电是一种目然放电现象,在雷电形成的瞬间其电压约为1亿~10亿伏特,电流可达20~25万安培,最高可达60~70万安培。闪电时放出的热量一般可达摄氏3万度,使周围的空气体积骤然膨胀,从而产生巨大的雷声。如此之高的电压、电流、热量对人体会造成严重危害。野外工作人员稍有不慎就会发生人身伤亡事故。在人遭雷击的瞬间,电流迅速通过人体,使呼吸中枢麻痹,心室纤颤或心跳骤停,脑组织缺氧,直到休克死亡。同时,温度极高的电火花也会给人体造成烧伤。为了防止雷击,野外工作人员遇雷电时应注意自我保护。
