Based on the feminine perspective, Mexico’s postmodernist writer Carmen Porta Saul, based on the colonized countries and forgotten histories, revisited the experience of humiliation five centuries ago at the end of the twentieth century, Reflections and reconsideration of the colonial history combine to try to find the root causes of the nation through memories and find the good medicine to rebuild itself through reflection. Her novel Sleeping through the stories of Gelei Lei, the story of the New World and the story of Utopia respectively interprets women, re-examines the subject’s self-cognition, and expresses the ideal and belief of the woman writer himself.
