Objective To establish the relationship between the number of personnel and the amount of blood collected to measure the reasonableness of the staffing of blood collection and delivery agencies. Methods A special “questionnaire” was designed to conduct a questionnaire survey on the number of personnel and the amount of blood taken at the blood collection and delivery agencies at provincial and municipal levels. Results The average number of provincial blood centers was 3.1 times of that of central blood stations. The number of people who took 1 tonne of blood was 0.66 times of that of central blood stations. The number of people who took 1 ton of blood decreased with the increase of scale. Number of 350 blood collection and supply agencies are divided into <2, ≥2-5, ≥5-10, ≥10-25, ≥25 these five levels, the establishment of a 6 number of personnel and blood volume relationship equation, after testing, Each equation is valid equation (P <0.05). Conclusion Optimizing the allocation of human resources not only saves expenditure and improves efficiency, but also can guarantee the rapid development of unpaid blood donation.
