The James Webb Space Telescope is planned for 2013 (due to funding reasons, the telescope’s service date has been postponed to 2018). It looks further than the Hubble Space Telescope you are using. It uses the latest technology to collect the infrared light from more than 13 billion years of space. The main mirror diameter of the James Webb Space Telescope is more than 6 meters in diameter and its surface area is seven times that of the Hubble Space Telescope. The size of the mirror allows the telescope to collect more light faster and to provide better image clarity than the previous product.
