基于无线光信道和脉冲位置调制(PPM)信号的特点,将Turbo乘积码(TPC)引入其中,完成了Turbo乘积码和PPM调制硬件电路的设计制作。分别对系统能获得的调制增益和编码增益进行了详细的实验测试,证明了该设计方案可行,实验结果表明:在信息速率为155.52 Mb/s,闪烁指数为0.1,调制阶数M=4,误码率(BER)为10-6的条件下,与开关键控(OOK)调制系统相比,PPM调制方式原理样机可获得9.03 dB的调制增益,TPC编译码原理样机可获得4.2 dB以上的编码增益。该模块的应用将能够极大地提升无线光通信系统的性能。
Based on the characteristics of wireless optical channel and pulse position modulation (PPM) signal, Turbo product code (TPC) is introduced into it, and the design of Turbo product code and PPM modulation hardware circuit is completed. The experimental results show that with the information rate of 155.52 Mb / s, the flicker index of 0.1 and the modulation order of M = 4, the modulation gain and the coding gain of the system are respectively tested in detail. Compared with OOK modulation system, PPM modulation prototype achieves a modulation gain of 9.03 dB under the condition of bit error rate (BER) of 10-6. The prototype of TPC coding and decoding algorithm achieves a gain of 4.2 dB or more Coding gain. The application of this module will greatly improve the performance of wireless optical communication system.
