汝窑创烧于北宋晚期,以烧制青瓷而闻名,与官窑、哥窑、钧窑、定窑并称为宋代五大名窑。汝窑窑址在今河南省宝丰县清凉寺,此地宋代属汝州,故名汝窑。汝窑开窑时间前后仅有二十年,烧造时间较短,瓷器传世不多。早在南宋时期,汝窑瓷器就已经非常稀有,从那以后历代,汝窑瓷器都被视为珍品,所以汝窑瓷器又有“宋瓷之冠”之美誉。由于汝窑瓷器的存世量稀少,历代以来,汝窑瓷器都是皇家收藏的珍品,故宫旧藏中有多件汝窑瓷器
