Watched Wang Yanhong’s “riddled with holes”, reminds me of Chen Rong’s “people to middle age.” “People to middle age” is also written by a doctor, the kind of capture and feel of life I can not forget today. It wrote before and after the smashing of the “gang of four,” the heavy burden of intellectual psychology and the stubborn personality. It was very touching. The “riddled with holes” is written in the 21st century. It describes that with the continuous development of medical reform, it has shown that what happens to the collision and conflict between the old and the new social ideology in each intellectual has a certain Meaning and certain vitality. Of course, not to say that the two novels are as well written but can be looked at in contrast. The author of “riddled holes” wakes up earlier and sees the medical reform in Jiangnan. Through this novel, he can see the status quo of the medical front and the problems it causes. I think this is the charm of literary creation.
