语言反映了语言群体对外界的主观认识,承载着各个民族的文化特征。而习语是语言的精华,是一个语言群体的“文化微缩景观”。因此,在翻译中德习语时,不应只追求字面意思的理解,还应重视文化输出,寻求两者间文化功能上的对等。本文将在文化翻译观以及归化、异化翻译策略的理论指导下,着眼于影响习语翻译的文化因子,以具体例证为基础,探求中德习语间的跨文化理解。
Language reflects the subjective understanding of the language community to the outside world and carries the cultural characteristics of each nation. Idioms, on the other hand, are the essence of language and are the cultural miniature of a language group. Therefore, in the translation of German and Chinese, we should not only pursue the understanding of the literal meaning, but also attach importance to the output of culture and seek the cultural functional equivalence between the two. Under the guidance of the theories of cultural translation and domestication and foreignization, this thesis focuses on the cultural factors that influence the translation of idioms and explores the intercultural understanding between Chinese and German idioms based on concrete examples.
