晚清台湾林戴氏因儿子林文明在彰化县衙内被杀,她为了伸冤,亲自渡海到福州坐镇,四次遣抱入京叩阍,案件长达13年之久,直到林戴氏老死福州,也未能翻案。由于林戴氏京控中牵累众多的地方官员,尽管皇帝屡次下旨要求福建官府重审,但均被地方官府搪塞敷衍了事。晚清新式媒体《申报》对此有追踪报道,林戴氏京控案除了揭示林家和台湾地方民众及官府结怨外,还说明地方官员为了维护自身利益而巧妙地与朝廷周旋。而案情的话语权完全由地方官府掌握,他们的资讯又直接影响到朝廷的判断。
In the late Qing Dynasty, Taiwan’s Linda was murdered because her son, Lin Wenming, was killed in Yanei County, Changhua County. In order to redress his injustice, she personally crossed the sea to Fuzhou, where she was sent to Beijing for four times. The case lasted for 13 years until her death in Fuzhou. Also failed to reverse the case. Due to many of the local officials under the control of Lin Dai in Beijing, the emperor repeatedly tried to ask the Fujian government to reexamine the case, but they were both prevaricated by the local government. In the late Qing media, the “China Newspaper” has a follow-up report on this. In addition to revealing the Lin Family and the local people in Taiwan, the Lin Dai case of accusation against the government also shows that local officials skillfully deal with the court in the interests of safeguarding their own interests.
