行星齿轮传动的基本原理,就是通过一个简单的行星轮系获得三种速比。与普通的平行轴齿轮传动相比,行星齿轮传动因为是同轴布置而具有很大的优越性。行星齿轮传动与液力传动结合使用,能获得无级变速。文中介绍的 Vosper Hovermarine 公司的 HM5侧壁式气垫船就是应用这种传动原理的实例。该船不论是在高功率,混合式传动、无级变速的工况下运行,还是在低功率、纯液力传动,全速后退的工况下运行,其运行情况都很好。最后,为简化传动装置的液力润滑系统,以及为使行星齿轮传动能广泛地用于多种发动机,作者提出了一些建议。
The basic principle of planetary gear drive, through a simple planetary gear train to obtain three kinds of speed ratio.
