We collected and sorted the distribution information of the 96 most endangered species in China, and used the Maxent distribution model to simulate the potential distribution of the 46 species whose distribution point information is more abundant. We distributed the distribution points of the remaining 50 species with few distribution information directly Marked on the map. By analyzing the proportion of individual species covered by national nature reserves and the proportion of national nature reserves covering the hot spots of the most endangered species distribution, a vacancy analysis was carried out for the national nature reserves. As of the end of 2014, only 16 of the most closely watched endangered species were covered by protected areas covering over 10% of the projected area. Only 8.27% of the number of pixels (0.8421o) in which the number of most critically endangered species are most likely to be distributed are protected by the National Nature Reserve. In addition, only 10.9% of the most notable mammals in danger distribution Area, 1.13% of the hot spots of the most notable endangered species of birds and 7.26% of the hot spots of most attention to the distribution of endangered plants were covered by national nature reserves. The results show that the national nature reserve is not covered by most of the most endangered species, especially for all long-distance migratory birds. National-level nature reserves are not enough to cover hot spots with the most concern about endangered species, especially In eastern and southern China, the layout of nature reserves in these areas needs to be optimized.
