Sha Zukang, a peasant-originated Chinese diplomat, took the post of Secretary-General of the United Nations on July 1, 2007, after having experienced 37 years of ups and downs in diplomatic career. In the diplomatic community, Sha Zukang has the reputation of “iron beak”. At various international conferences, as long as Sha Zu-kang speaks, many diplomatic representatives are vying to attend the forum and would like to hear what aphorisms Sen Lao is rehearsing today. Sha Zukang commented: “I, peasant origin, brave native flavor, speech with the humor of peasants, boldness of peasants, farmer’s wisdom, simple peasants ... I love my hometown, that I am peasant diplomacy Officer, I feel very proud. ”
