Art is inseparable from representation. In all the art categories, the reality of photography as the object of reproduction has always been among the most tense, the most complicated and the most tangled. This is primarily because the invention of photographic techniques created an illusion that it was hard to get rid of it. It seems that humans have finally found an objective and mechanical way to replicate the world. The camera replaced the artist’s hand and pen, and the outside world seemed to be automatically attached to photographic paper or film, magically appearing in front of people through chemical processes. It is because of this illusion that photography has acquired an authoritative “evidence” since its inception
