核转录因子NF-κB是具有多向性转录激活功能的调节因子,脑损伤后它在神经系统中广泛高水平表达,与其调控的细胞因子如肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)等一起积极参与炎症反应、神经细胞凋亡等生物进程。同时,NF-κB又具有神经保护作用。因此,如何从分子水平上阻断NF-κB的损伤作用,充分发挥其保护作用,有望成为脑损伤的临床治疗的一个新思路。
The nuclear transcription factor NF-κB is a regulator of multidirectional transcriptional activation, which is widely expressed in the nervous system after brain injury and is actively involved with its regulatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) Inflammatory reactions, neuronal apoptosis and other biological processes. At the same time, NF-κB has a neuroprotective effect. Therefore, how to block the damaging effect of NF-κB at the molecular level and give full play to its protective effect is expected to become a new idea in the clinical treatment of brain injury.
