随着经济体制改革的深化,医院的经营面临着新的挑战。城市基层医院是为了生存向专科化发展,还是向综合性大医院发展?四年的改革实践使我们体会到,城市基层医院应突出自己的特色,应立足为本社区的居民提供全面、优质的医疗保健服务。基层医院在完善本身职责的基础上,应逐步发展成为小型的综合性社区医院。近年来,我院有1/3的医务人员参加了预防保健工作,选派了4名技术全面的医生在三个居委会建立了医疗保健站,为社区居民提供全科医生的服务,探索以PHC为基础的社区医学服务模式。这种服务模式,受到了WHO官员、卫生部及市局领导的关注。
