中国传统小说中的杰出之作,常常通过诸多矛盾两极的流动逆转,借助儒、道、释精神的对立互补,加之神话叙事与现实叙事的有机统一,拓展出深广的审美空间,这往往是内蕴着天人之道的张力空间,独特而深远的审美意味寄寓其中。遗憾的是,传统小说的这种成功经验,却极少为我国现、当代小说所吸取。
