If you want to say which newspaper can represent the United States, many people will put forward the “New York Times.” In recent years, however, the Washington Post has gained so much momentum following the Watergate incident 15 years ago. At a time when Woodward and Van Stein, two reporters in the newspaper, were chasing after finding clues, they finally came up with a major political scandal that linked to the White House top leaders and finally forced Nixon’s resignation. The two notorious journalists also wrote the book titled “The President’s Trickery,” starring several famous celebrities and bringing the plot to the screen. As a result, the Washington Post started to gain its reputation. After November of last year, another scandal in the U.S. political circles has “gone a long way.”
