将东北、淮北两地的白浆土磨制成0.03mm 的薄片,在偏光显微镜下观察.结果表明,两地的白浆土虽都有白浆层,但在形成原因上大为不同,系两个性质不同的土类.东北白浆土B层有较多铁质淀积粘粒胶膜,A_1、Aw层铁质凝团的富集是白浆化的重要依据;淮北白浆土粘化层中未见淀积粘粒胶膜,而铁锰却有强烈还原淋溶现象,B层粘化是由于残积粘化造成.东北白浆土B层硅粉主要是粉砂质石英、长石等原生矿物及植物岩型蛋白石,而淮北白浆土中都未见到.
