The article summarizes the composition of the herpes simplex virus type 1 genome and its life cycle in host cells as well as human-related diseases caused by the infection. The immunity of CD4 and CD8 positive T lymphocytes caused by herpes simplex virus type I infection Response and the depletion of CD8-positive T lymphocytes.
